Additional Information

This PWE Cairo leaflet was intended by Joint Operational Staff to be destined for Italian troops who were fighting side-by-side with the Afrika Korps. It was designed to depress their morale by rubbing into them how forlorn was their situation, and to increase their resentment against their German Ally to the point of their denying him their transport. It was therefore intended for the immediate battle area.
