PWE Cairo leaflet T.5 was intended by Joint Operational Staff as a morale-shaker for Italian frontline soldiers in Africa (and might have been used in Crete).
While recalling the danger run by their relatives living in the neighbourhood of war factories at home in Italy, it rubs in the superiority of means against which the Italian soldier, ever more and more, would have to fight - a superiority of which he had already foretasted in the previous three months. |
