This PWE Cairo leaflet was designed to help get the Arabs of Tripoli milling round to impede Axis momentum, to rouse them to object to German and Italian demolitions and to prepare them for the British entry.
It was in Arabic and Italian, because many Arabs could only read the latter; and many others only the former. Also because it was healthy for Italians to read it. |
